RuPaul gets the green light for another new Game Show Network show. “Skin Wars: Fresh Paint expands the Skin Wars franchise by challenging the country’s most talented artists to redefine their creative boundaries,” says Amy Introcaso-Davis, EVP of Programming, GSN. “RuPaul, the innovator of transformation, is the perfect host to anchor the franchise’s next step.”
Skin Wars: Fresh Paint, which first aired as a one-hour special on August 26, features three of Skin Wars’ top former contestants who mentor six new, highly accomplished artists each week. They’ll mentor their teammates through several rounds of intense competition, pushing them to apply their talents to the human canvas in innovative ways. It culminates in a final challenge where the remaining two artists must put all they’ve learned to the test, completing a full body masterpiece on their own. The judges, international master body painter Emma Cammack and art critic Mat Gleason, will pick the winner who receives a $10,000 prize.
