The Jungle Book is, of course, the timeless story of an orphan boy raised in the jungle with the help of a pack of wolves, a bear, and a black panther. This new live action (and probably songless) (*frownie face*) remake stars Scarlett Johansson as Kaa, Idris Elba as Shere Khan, Bill Murray as Baloo, Ben Kingsley as Bagheera, Christopher Walken as King Louie, Giancarlo Esposito as Akela, and Lupita Nyongo as Raksha. It was directed by Jon Farveau. Watch the trailer below– the CGI is amazing and the animals look really cool. The Verge explains: “The animals and environment are actually photorealistic computer-generate imagery, merged together with performance capture and footage shot of the cast, particularly Neel Sethi, who plays Mowgli.”

The Jungle Book is an all-new, live-action/CGI epic adventure about Mowgli (Neel Sethi), a man-cub who’s been raised by a family of wolves.
