Super good web series EastSiders is about to kick off season 2…and it’s gonna be awesome! Just to catch you guys up…main characters Cal (Kit Williamson-series creator) and Thom (Van Hansis) are boyfriends. Thom cheats with Jeremy (who looks eerily similar to Cal). Cal confronts Jeremy and they end up sleeping together. Cal and Thom wear lots of matching clothes…and there’s lots of shots of their feet. Now, they’re back together-ish…doing the ‘open relationship/dating an ex’ thing, and tryin to redefine what their relationship might be. Season 2 brings new cast of characters, including Willam Belli (RPDR Season 4), Manila Luzon (RPDR Season 3), ex-porn/pop star Traci Lords, YouTube star Drew Droege (Chloe) and more!
“I wanted to break open the love triangle,” says Williamson. “Jealousy is only interesting to a point. What happens when it’s removed from the equation? There are so many different ways human beings connect with each other, and there is no one way that is right for everybody. The show explores many different kinds of relationships, from ex-boyfriends getting back together, to friends starting a new relationship, to a lesbian couple with two kids finally getting married.”
