Images of endangered animals, including birds, tigers, bears and other creatures, shined on the downtown side of The Empire State Building last night. The live video projection drew large crowds of spectators and sparked conversation about mass extinction on our planet. The event was organized as a promotion for a new Discovery Channel documentary, Racing Extinction, which will air in December.
