Well, the weather in New York City has been crazy-beautiful the last few days –just perfect. Perfect for a gay (or straight or bi, or trans) picnic! Yes, NYC offers everything under the sun including custom-catered picnics no matter how you identify. Whatever your budget, they’ve got an option. You can do the CLASSIC picnic for $35, the GOLD option for $350 or the ULTIMATE for $1000 –there are lots of options in between too. (They have a spot in Central Park, where you can pick up your to-go picnic, too.) If you think about it, planning a picnic is fun but it can be a HUGE time-consuming hassle; planning the menu, shopping, making the food, finding all of the gear, packing, schlepping it to the spot, cleaning up after, dragging the remains home, etc. But if you want to say, pop THE question, let somebody else do all that, and all you have to do is show up! Perfect Picnic will even provide a photographer to shoot the event at a safe distance, paparazzi-style, to preserve your privacy. I love this idea.
