The niece of civil rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, Alveda King, not only says it’s ‘impossible’ for two people of the same sex to be married, she went on a self-assured rant. While appearing on a marriage equality panel held by the anti-gay, hate group Family Research Council –the one Josh Duggar just resigned from, btw.
“It’s impossible to marry two men to each other or two women, it’s just not possible. The two cannot become one. It is biologically impossible, scientifically impossible, emotionally impossible, definitely spiritually impossible.”
Uh, guess it’s not POSSIBLE, right? You might be related to Dr. King but you don’t have his oratory skills, Alveda. King who is (surprise!) a Fox News contributor as well as a “Christian” minister, said no matter what courts rule, clergy should NOT perform same-sex marriages and that gays are the only ones who THINK they’re married.
“It is not possible, it is impossible. We have to be able to articulate that on all the levels we just said: spiritual, physical, science.”
In the second video below, King speaks of an openly gay man who was the godfather to her three oldest children before she became a “Christian”…
“He did not think he was married to another man because in those days that confusion did not exist – it is confusion.”
She told him that his “lifestyle is not going to work for you in eternity” and recommended that he remain celibate. Confused? Choosing “a “lifestyle for eternity”…? Yes, someone is definitely confused, Alveda.
