You hate to hear about longtime celebrity couples splitting and it seems that’s the case for Marge and Homer Simpson who have been married over 25 years. Their friend, producer Al Jean says;
“…it’s discovered after all the years Homer has narcolepsy and it’s an incredible strain on the marriage. Homer and Marge legally separate, and Homer falls in love with his pharmacist…” [voiced by Lena Dunham]
The Simpsons’ marital woes were a topic of discussion on The View yesterday, as Whoopi Goldberg went off on Homer about the news;
“What the hell? Homer, what about a sister? In the time that I’ve seen you, I’ve never seen you with a black woman. Or maybe Marge is just a light-skinned sister and they haven’t said it. I don’t know..?”
In other sad news, it seems their son Bart Simpsonjust might die at the hands of his longtime nemesis, Sideshow Bob, as part of the annual “Treehouse of Horror” Halloween special. What’s with these “reality shows” –they’ll do just about ANYTHING, including murder people for ratings, huh? The Simpsons will September 27th on Fox. (via Huffington Post)
