New pics emerged yesterday of Jared Leto as the Joker and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn seen filming on the sets of Suicide Squad in Toronto. Now, I was wrong when I prematurely lost my mind over Will Smith‘s Deadshot outfit, so maybe I’m wrong about this, too. (I still stand by my larger point that Will isn’t cool enough to play Floyd Lawton, and everything he does is going to be a desecration of the character). I HOPE I’m wrong, because this is just all kinds of worrisome. In these (admittedly fuzzy and far-off) pics, Jared looks like he’s wearing a half-ass Halloween costume that’s definitely more Caesar Romero than Heath Ledger. That does NOT bode well. What do YOU think?
The car used in the scene, btw, is an Infiniti G35 with a Vaydor body kit. It’s pretty maje.

Sigh. Remember how excited we were last month when we saw THIS? Let’s hope his interpretation of the character is more this, less that.
