It was announced yesterday that 64-year-old legend Jessica Lange is the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty. The preview pic, by renowned fashion photographer David Sims, is notable for not airbrushing her into a pencil doodle. (That old Joan Crawford trick of using those noir-ish slashes of light, does the job just fine.) Notes Today.com: “Older models are (thankfully) gaining traction these days: Diane Keaton, 68, fronted Chico’s and L’Oreal, Lauren Hutton, 70, poses for Lucky Brand, and even American Apparel is featuring a 62-year-old face.” So there’s hope for my budding modeling career yet!
