To Cher (and Marc Jacobs) he asked “Do you like Chinese food?” To which Cher giggled and asked “Is what what we’re getting?” André says “No, just wondering.” And she moves along.
He asked Sofia Vergara if she ever “just splurged and binged on Chinese takeaway?” To which she said yes but she regrets it because it makes her bloated. Andre then had an Tourettes moment and blurted out: “Chinese China China China.” Whatever that could mean.
He was awed (as was I) by Justin Bieber’s embroidered jacket (by humpy young Oliver Rousteing) and chirped: “Wow, China. You look great.” ????
I loved his hysterical interaction with Madonna, where he called her “The high goddess of everything, of sex.” Madge tells him she was “working a cape” because “capes cannot keep me down.”
My favorite though is this nutty little moment with Kim Kardashian: “The moment. The moment is there,” he says. Then, as they are leaving, he appears to just notice she’s with her husband. “Heyyyy Mr. Kanye,” she says in a weird little sing-song voice. And I just about died.
