Huh? SPIKE TV, home to testosterone-driven shows like MANSwers, Deadliest Warrior, and World’s Wildest Police Videos… is doing a lip sync show? Can’t the gays have ANYTHING? To be fair, it’s based on the wildly successful recurring bit on Jimmy Fallon‘s show, and it’s going to feature a shit-ton of celebrities (including Justin Bieber, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Julianne Hough, Hota Kotb, Mike Tyson, Queen Latifah, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard, Victoria Justice, and Will Arnett)… so it might actually be kind of fun. But you’d think they’d ask Ru to come on and judge, or at least offer her blessing. So far it feels like the hets co-opting one of the last bits of pure gay culture left. I’m incredibly conflicted. What do YOU think? Will you watch?
