Second City TV, Canada’s answer to SNL in the 70s had some of the best TV parodies EVER. This was lounge act Dusty Town’s first special, and first TV show. Solid Gold hoofer, Marcie Odette (Andrea Martin) looks an AWFUL lot like that (gaga) dancer, Stephanie Germonatta, huh?

Dusty also does her own special medley of naughty Christmas hits, “I’ll Be A Homo For Christmas” and has quite a rapport with Divine (John Candy) who does “Santa Bring My Baby Back to Me” on ice (complete with pink flamingoes). Dusty recites “The Night Before Christmas”. It’s a longish haul, but pretty worth it. Watch. (T/Y Matthew)
