Yes, it’s a cliché to reference James Bond’s villains with over-the-top futuristic architecture but, come on… look at these pics. You’ll have to ignore the W Hotel-style furnishings, but tell me you can’t see Daniel Craig kicking some bad-guys ass all over this 8,694 square feet? In one of the five baths, or four bedrooms? Maybe in the gym or spa? Or pushing some henchman into one of the three fireplaces? But for $40 million dollars most buyers might expect more than a 1/2 acre lot, right? You DO get tons of glass (to crash through?) on 100 feet of Lake Tahoe waterfront with a glass elevator (major action!) and a six-story glass stairwell (BIG finalé death scene impaled on a sculpture?) But if not for Bond, the whole thing seems a bit much for a lake house.
