Lady Gaga SLAYS it in Vienna, covering the classic ’90s alt-rock power ballad “What’s Up?”. THIS is the Gaga that I love: Brash, ballsy, stripped down, and emotionally connected to her lyrics. She’s taken a song that I literally LOATHE, and transformed it into something FABULOUS.

Wearing an army print jacket, pink and black polka dotted onesie and her hair in a short, blonde bob, Gaga nods her head along to the beat on her piano bench before taking full command of the stage and the song.
Bringing out her most guttural growl in the loudest part of her voice, Gaga screams to “What’s Up,” injecting an insane amount of passion and emotion into the performance. The growls and screams and sheer power of Gaga’s performance bumps up the intensity clear to 11, and she demands to know what’s going on.
Still not as entertaining as Prince Adam’s version…
