Also: MUSIC, which they mysteriously forgot to include in the official trailer. Odd, as it’s a MUSICAL. But whatever. Market it as a legal thriller for all I care. But here we finally get to here snippets of Sondheim’s songs, and, oh, Meryl’s mellifluous voice. They say she’s Oscar bound again. OF COURSE. My one quibble is that suddenly Johnny Depp thinks he’s Richard Burton. Richard Burton doing Shaft. Really, who allowed him to have wardrobe input? You know it was HIS IDEA to make the Big Bad Wolf into a pimp. God, he’s just the WORST.
