Um…. not to be an alarmist but: According to the UN’s Ebola response chief, the longer the Ebola epidemic continues infecting people unabated, the higher the chances it will mutate and become AIRBORNE. And then where will we all be? DEAD WITHIN A YEAR. Anthony Banbury, the Secretary General’s Special Representative, told the Telegraph that aid workers were fighting a race against time amid fears the disease will begin to mutate.
He said: ‘The longer it moves around in human hosts in the virulent melting pot that is West Africa, the more chances increase that it could mutate.
His comments come as organizations battling the crisis in West Africa warned the international community has just four weeks to stop its spread before it spirals ‘completely out of control’.
Of course, the conspiracy-minded commenters at the Daily Mail theorize that it ALREADY HAS gone airborne, and nobody’s telling us. Some of my favorite comments below (They make scary bedtime reading):

The big drug companies are already on it producing a drug – the only thing they need to make it worth their while is more fodder – so, no, the flights aren’t going to be stopped and we are being prepared for the “million cases to come” – while being told that it is practically impossible to catch Ebola and worry not! I worked for the airlines and I just love the comments about how impossible this would be to catch on an airplane (cause it is only transmitted through bodily fluids) yeah, well, what is sneezing and spiting and a cut that bleeds – Oh and those lovely roomy lavatories where you miss the bowl and spew urine and fecal matter around (sorry to be so graphic) but in what fantasy except the government’s and the media’s and the talking-head-doctor’s insanity does this not constitute a danger???

Chances are if they are worried (warning) of it going airborne it already is. Maybe the decreased death rate (typically in the 90% range) is indicative of a cross-breeding with oh say EV D68 which has a much higher infection rate and is airborne. Seeing as how ebola is classed in the same type as the flu it would not take much engineering for those who own the patent on this disease (CDC) to contrive a much better carrier even if they had to accept a lesser fatality rating. There is no way that a man from Liberia whose country is decimated economically had the money to fly to Brussels then to Washington then to Dallas on his yearly income nevermind having that amount of cash on hand. He was sent or brought to the United States on purpose.
We have been spoon fed lies to avoid panic because if doctors and medics are catching Ebola despite the extreme precautions they have taken then it must be airborne already. This is nature’s way of culling the human hives and preserving the best genetic survivors.
I do not want to sound like a conspiracy theory nut, but looking on the internet at past Ebola outbreaks this particular one is, compared to them, spreading like wildfire, can it really be only spread by body fluids and touch? if so why are heavily protected Doctors and Nurses dying? I have a strange and nagging feeling that we are not being told the whole story, has someone been playing God and its got loose?.
This disease is already airborne, this has been established early on, not sure why this is in question anymore…unless not to cause a panic? My thoughts it is already to late to stop a panic with the public, maybe a slow news day or something.

Has Ebola EVER been airborne? I don’t think so, if it happens now, it was weaponized.
Apparently they are now saying if you are three feet away form someone infected there is a good chance you will get it.
I believe that Ebola IS airborne. The Canadian government had posted on one of their websites that it WAS airborne but that was quickly taken down. The American doctors who have gone to Africa to help Ebola victims wear Hazmat type suits and they are getting Ebola themselves! I think the government officials know the truth but are downplaying the threat to not panic the public. This is very scary!!
Then so be it. Ebola is God’s will; we should not interfere with the magnificent, natural world he has created.
Curiously, the US Goverment holds the patent on the Ebola virus. An airborne mutation was created in the laboratory in 1999. According to reports this seems to be common knowledge in Sierra Leone etc.
It’s an understandable – and very valid “worry”. The progress of the bubonic plague (1347) that killed over half the population of Britain and Europe – it’s progress was slow and initially a – “contact only” – disease. Then it mutated to become “air-borne” – that’s when it became like an unstoppable raging wild-fire – that ripped it’s deadly way across the world – killing billions. Even if you put all of the world’s problems together – they will quickly become insignificant – compared to Ebola – if it mutates to become “air-borne”.
It has gone airborne….. They refuse to tell us……

The UN and CDC are either lying or are delusional to believe that donning rubber aprons, a paper mask and goggles are protecting medical personnel from Ebola. When the CDC works with this virus in their lab, they are wearing complete sealed protective hazmat gear with indendent O2 supply, something out of Andromeda Strain.
They probably knew that transmission of this virus possible through airborne means but weren’t 100% sure at the start. So they’re covering up for their blunder and saying that it “might mutate”. What’s scary here is that the immune systems of Americans might not be strong enough to fight this kind of infection. They should restrict flights coming in from those countries.
The line of people waiting to fly out of the Ebola hot zone is blood chilling.
I believe it already has & I also believe that they very well know that. I’m not one to fall into the media hype around illnesses, but they have not explained how a physician in full isolation gear who did not come in contact with infected body fluids became infected. I believe he became infected interviewing patients prior to diagnosis without his face mask on= airborne. I’m not want to panic easily, but I am starting to get very concerned…..our borders should be closed to infected countries until a vaccine or treatment can be confirmed.
