They have a book, hilariously called Pray the Gay Away, which you can get here. In the video they posted about coming out, they say they really didn’t the other was gay until their junior year of high school (7 years ago, btw). Mike says,
“We both didn’t know that each other were gay. Zach was a jock who played rugby and I, Michael, was the artsy, loner kid.”
They accidentally found out when they both hooked up with the same guy on different days in their high school bathroom. The guy (described as an “emo string bean”) didn’t realize he was hooking up with two different people.
Rumors began circulating that one of the brothers were gay, they did the math and realized they’re both gay! Mike says,
“I’m glad it happened. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
