I posted yesterday as the news went viral, that actor Colton Haynes split from his husband of 6 months, celebrity florist Jeff Leatham is now setting the record straight.
Rumors about the pair circulated after the Haynes deleted several recent photos of the pair spending time together from his Instagram feed and unfollowed him.
This all just two days after Haynes released an acoustic recording of a song he wrote and sings, called Man It Sucks, which refers to a “cheating drama”
“Man it sucks
When someone figures out your games
and don’t wanna play ‘em no more
We’re crying in our bed
and making our way to the floor
Man it sucks
And I don’t like when you’re staying out all night
and never answer your phone
I follow you around the world just to be left alone
And man it sucks.”
But Haynes denied the song was written with Leatham in mind, posting on social media,
“Jeff would never cheat. He’s an amazing man. Please stop being mean to him. The song I wrote was about a past relationship.”
Haynes has dropped the word “husband” from his Instagram profile and his hyphenated married name, Haynes-Leatham… but Leatham has kept the hyphenate, so far. Leatham has also kept up a video posted on his Instagram of Haynes dancing with his mother who just passed away in March of this year.
