Kanye West, the Trump-supporting rapper, sent out tribute tweets about Emma Gonzalez, calling her his “hero” and inspiration.
But Gonzalez didn’t respond to West but instead she wrote “my hero” on a tweet VERY similar to West’s. Gonzalez named James Shaw Jr., who tackled and disarmed Waffle House mass shooting suspect Travis Reinking.
West spent last week praising Trump who Gonzalez has criticized for his opposition to gun reform.
