The Drag Queens of the UK are rallying together to protest Trump’s first visit to the UK in July. The protest is being organized by Cheddar Gorgeous and other UK Drag Queens and all started from a Facebook event. The Facebook event has 800+ confirmed attendees and 6.7k interested attendees. The event is open to all drag queens, kings, queers and allies.
Calling all drag kings, queens, queers and our allies to march against President Donald Trumps UK visit.
Due to the appalling way the Trump administration has regarded the rights and welfare of LGBTQI communities of the US, the idea of a Trump visit to the UK is unacceptable.
Let’s get visible, stand with our sister’s, brothers and others in America, and show that we are a country that celebrates diversity.
We will meet at a central location and join the main protest. Details of meeting location and times will be announced as we understand more about the itinerary of the visit and our fellow protester’s plans.
