Million Dollar Listing newlyweds Josh Flagg and Bobby Boyd lead quite the glamorous lifestyle, flitting to and fro, hither and yon – and always first class, darling. But what happens when they have kids? Will they give up the posh vacations and whirlwind luxury plane trips? Not bloody likely.
“If we had kids, we would have to take them traveling, absolutely,” Josh told Jet Set when we caught up the couple on their Bora Bora honeymoon last year (clip above). “I would never give up traveling.”
Bobby added, “I think that’s the beauty of it. You get to take them all around the world and give them a whole different view of life. I didn’t travel until I was a teenager when I started working. So for me, I’d want to take my baby right away.”
But that’s where the plot thickened. “And they would fly coach… they would not fly first class,” Bobby added.
*RECORD SCRATCH*
Whuuuuuuuuuut?
Bobby explained, “They would fly coach, and I would even fly with them. It’s more about they can’t too comfortable right away. They have to understand [reality].”
Josh was quick to defend his own experiences from his privileged upbringing. “I turned out OK and I didn’t fly coach,” he told his husband — who nodded along playfully, saying, “Sure you did. Yup…”
But Josh confirmed once again he’s on board with the plan of teaching kids that flying up front isn’t just automatically a way of life. “I do think it’s a good idea to put your kids in the back,” he said.
For Bobby’s part, it’s important to him that his own upbringing influences the lifestyle — and value system — of any future children. “[Any of my future] kids have to have the Boyds in them, and the Boyds are hard workers. We’re a military family. Like, we’re men! I’ll leave it at that.”
