On the Today show this morning, Ivanka Trump was outraged – OUTRAGED! – that interviewer Peter Alexander had the temerity to ask about the 21 women who have publicly accused President Trump of sexually harassing or assaulting them.
“I think it’s a pretty inappropriate question to ask a daughter if she believes the accusers of her father when he’s affirmatively stated that there’s no truth to it,” Trump told NBC’s Peter Alexander.
“I don’t think that’s a question that you would ask many other daughters,” she continued. “I believe my father. I know my father. I think I have that right as a daughter to believe my father.”
Well…. to a point. If she was JUST a daughter then perhaps yes. But as she is officially “Advisor to the President” all questions are fair game. It’s hard to play the “leave me and my family to our privacy” card when you are part of the administration.
