Women To Look Up To is a non-profit that aims to shine a light on modern female role models, famous or working behind the scenes to further women’s position within society. From their website: “We act to inspire, motivate, and lift each other up in a joyous way.”
The organization also offers Christmas cards featuring Clinton, Beyoncé, and Williams; plus Adele, Michelle Obama, and Angelina Jolie.
They use a unique 3D printing process that allows the artisans to then carve the women out of plaster. The sculpting of these figures means every version is unique, like a first edition. The sculpting process takes around 12 hours, then an artist finishes his each one, sparing no detail or quality, and taking up to a week to complete.
Even with a misogynist president, 2017 has shaped up to be the Year Of The Woman. Why not have one atop your Christmas tree?
