Last month, Brit singer/songwriter FKA twigs launched ROOTS. SHOCK. BEAUTY., the first issue of her digizine AVANTgarden– an original, online only visual magazine, built and distributed using Instagram’s slide features. The launch featured an exploration of braided hair styles and a host of FKA twigs’ friends and longtime collaborators. Her latest issue, Dream Warrior, serves up a portfolio of stunning looks by photog David Uzochukwu, alongside an original poem from FKA twigs herself that weaves throughout the pics.
